These are natural grottos which open on the slopes of Mount San Calogero – above Sciacca. The grottos emanate a stream of vapor, which is known for it's healing qualities since the old days. | ||
Close to the furnaces of San Calogero the Antiquariate of Mount Kronio has been opened, a museum documenting the characteristics of nature as well as the geological, historical and archaeological development of the site.
